He began his professional career with the Boy Scouts of America serving both Pender and Brunswick Counties before becoming the Director of Business Development with Wilmington Industrial Development in 2000. During his tenure at WID he was instrumental in locating such industry titans as GE Nuclear Energy’s World Headquarters, Verizon Wireless’ 1200 employee Financial Services Center, Guilford Industries Headquarters and numerous other relocations and expansions to the Greater Wilmington region.
